Refining our functions going forward
As we conclude 2025, we have witnessed a surge in the need for our services compared to recent years. The increased demand for catch-up rent payments has necessitated a conscious return to our primary objectives.
In response, we have decided to prioritize emergency and immediate assistance for individuals who have experienced unforeseen and life-altering disasters. These emergencies often arise from illnesses, property damage, or personal accidents that impair an individual’s ability to sustain themselves financially.
While we acknowledge the challenges faced by those struggling to make rent payments, we have determined that falling behind on rent payments is typically the consequence of ongoing personal difficulties.
Therefore, effective from 2026 and beyond, we will no longer consider requests for catch-up rent payments as the result of ongoing personal challenges.
We remain committed to upholding our two core principles of our mission: providing emergency aid and distributing surprise gifts, known as “Make My Day,” to foster positivity and support.
